(Rent the Runway) February 2017 + Le Tote/Rocksbox: Fab February Styles

What do you think?  I’m starting to get the hang of this stylin’ stuff! I’ve been so pleased with the choices I picked from my clothes and jewelry rental services, like Rent the Runway, Le Tote and Rocksbox.  See below for the latest rentals!

I’m excited to share some of the outfits that I’ve been sporting this month.  Let me know what you think!

BCBG Generation Pleated Button Down Tunic (LT).  Retail: $88

Noir Essential Ponte Pant (LT). Retail: $72

Man, do I love this blouse!  It is such a pretty color!  I got complements galore when I wore this to work.  It is very sheer, so needed to wear a camisole underneath.  Also, without the belt, it fits like a big ole sack.  This one is a nice stable to have in the closet permanently but, with Le Tote, I can rent any time I want!

The pants are the best boing yoing pants ever! They are very comfortable and have a stretch panel on both sides. These would be a keeper if I couldn’t rent them any time I want.

Veronique Branquinho Denim Pleated Shift (RTW). Retail: $1,635

I feel like a million bucks in this dress! It’s over sized and is A LOT OF DRESS! There is no need to wear accessories, or risk looking too cluttered.  The pleats are simply gorgeous — the entire dress is made of very high quality fabric. It feels more silky than denim.  The detail at the V-neck is quite lovely. I think the neutral colors of the sweater, tights and shoes — the simplicity of these — really enhance the color and detail of the dress.  I wore this to dinner in the city AND to work the following week.  So sad to part with it!

Derek Lam Floral Tie Dress (RTW). Retail: $1,390.

Slate Helios Necklace (Rocksbox). Retail $60.

I wore this dress to work in February and froze my ass off! It is VERY sheer!  The fabric is flows and moves however you do. It’s more for the Fall than Winter, but it’s hard to tell that when shopping online. I wore this with patterned black tights and received so many complements.  The necklace is rented from Rocksbox. It was perfect for this busy dress — needed something that would stand out against the flowers, but would be subtle enough not to overwhelm.

French Connection Striped Turtleneck (LT).  Retail: $98

This is a basic sweater that gets the job done.  It’s warm and cozy — perfect for the winter weather. I wanted to brighten it up a bit, so paired it with my red cords from a previous Stitch Fix box.  I love red!  It’s my color!  I wore this out to a casual dinner with hubby.

Marni Ruffle Pocket Tunic Dress (RTW).  Retail: $1440

These pockets are the reason why I so LOVE this dress! Large and oversized, I could almost fit my laptop in these pockets! The dress is very heavy — don’t be fooled by the sleeveless arms. It’s really only appropriate in the Fall and Winter — I couldn’t imagine wearing this in the winter. I dressed with OTK flat boots for a fun, dress down style.  Wore to work in NYC, and then went shopping for gym clothes!
