Stitch Fix#7 is here. I didn’t ask my stylist for anything specific, so the contents of the box was truly a surprise for me this month. I think they have abandoned the idea of having the same stylist prepare the box month over month. I have someone new this month. With that said, at least she read my profile. Here is her note to me:
Hi Kenia! Happy 7th Fix Day! Can I tell you, I totally love Beyoncé too! I feel like I’ve been on twin watch stalking to see when she’s going to have those beautiful babies! I started this Fix with a bit of a wild card piece, that’s kind of edge and totally Beyoncé on the weekend! The Free People Kyoto Leggings are so much fun and perfect for casual margaritas with the girls! Pair them with the Current/Elliott Stach tee and a handful of funky gold bangle bracelets. The Bailey44 Brianna dress is a gorgeous piece that is perfect for a date night. I’m loving the off the shoulder trend this season and this dress does it in a really classy way! I can’t wait to hear what you loved and want to see in your next Fix. Happy styling and stay fabulous! XO Kimmy
OK, so I like her! Nice note!
With that said, this latest fix was a decent box and I kept several items!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, here’s how it works.
1. Fill out your Style Profile
Begin by filling out the Style Profile. This helps them understand your size, style, shape, budget and lifestyle. Completing your Profile takes about 10 minutes.
2. Pick the date you’d like to receive your shipment
Select a delivery date from the calendar. At the time your Stylist selects your items, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. That $20 will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment.
3. Try everything on in the comfort of your home
Make sure you to try on everything our Stylists have picked for you because you never know what will look great on you. Create new outfits by pairing what’s in your shipment with items that are already in your closet.
4. Buy what you like and return the rest
Take three days to decide what you’ll purchase and what you’d like to send back. You’re only charged for items you choose to keep when you check out. Check out by logging into your account to pay for the items you want to keep. The $20 styling fee will be applied as credit toward any items you purchase. If you buy all five items, you get 25% off the entire purchase. Simply return the items you don’t want in our prepaid mailer and drop it into any USPS mailbox. Stitch Fix provides free shipping both ways as a benefit of using the service.
So here are the items that I received based on my style profile! Stitch Fix recommends that you try everything on because you might feel differently about it once on your body. So, that’s exactly what I did!
Schutz Mollyna Peep Toe Stiletto Heel. Price to keep: $180.00
Classy! These are too small for me and I had to squeeze my feet in to get the picture. This is my excuse for why they look so terrible. I bought a pair of Schutz from Stitch Fix at the beginning of the season, so I guess they thought to try again! I like the style of the shoe and the navy color is really pretty. The heel is higher than I would normally wear, but I might have kept these if they fit….
Current/Elliott Stach V-Neck Tee. Price to keep: $78.00
I expect more from Stitch Fix. No way am I buying this basic tee for this much money.
Free People Kyoto Textured Legging. Price to keep: $128.00
Edgy! Love these leggings! Of course they are comfortable, but I really like the texture of them and the interesting pattern at the bottom of the leg. Super casual! Great for running errands or long travel days. AND, it’s a brand that I love and trust – Free People! These will go in my closet until the Fall.
Renee C Calia Cami Blouse. Price to keep: $36.00
Sweet! So cute! This cami is very colorful, great for Spring and Summer, and can be really versatile. I can wear this casually or dress up a bit for the office or a night out. I love the longer length in the back – I can dress up a pair of leggings. At this price, this piece is a steal!
Bailey44 Brianna Off The Shoulder Ponte Dress. Price to keep: $178.00
Classy! A very nice black dress! The off the shoulder style is so on trend for this season. I also really like the three quarter length sleeves – makes this piece feel really classy. The dress is very simply built so you make this dress be whatever you want. I just don’t see me getting a lot of wear out of this, given my Unlimited subscription with Rent the Runway. This would just sit in my closet.
So, what do you think about this month’s Fix! Let me know!
