I REALLY LIKE THESE QUOTES, but they have never been me…

I’ve never ever cared about style or fashion beyond making sure the world doesn’t laugh at me every time I walk out the front door. Pretty soon I’ll be crossing the 50-yard line and I’ve been lucky enough to be able to start crossing off things on my bucket list. Most of the things on the list are related to travel: going to exclusive destinations, eating at top restaurants around the world, or visiting natural wonders.  But, as I’ve been able to start living some of these dreams, I suddenly understand the role that fashion and style plays in life. There are cultural and regional influences that I can now appreciate as I circle the globe.

NOW, I’M READY TO BE INFLUENCED, but I really don’t know how to get started…

All of a sudden, I’m obsessed with my wardrobe and clothes and shoes and accessories and hairdos and all the other things that make up one’s personal style. It’s sad to admit but I don’t really know what my personal style is.  Well… I know what I like and don’t like, but I don’t know how to put that into words nor how to bring all of the components together into a single package. I’m obsessed, but I need help.

A friend recently told me about an online personal stylist subscription service called STITCH FIX and, after doing some research about these types of services, I’ve decided to try a few to help me get started on my new bucket list item: TO FIND THAT STYLISH, FASHIONABLE WOMAN THAT’S DEEP INSIDE ME.

I’ve decided to document my JOURNEY, so be patient with me because this is just the beginning!
